Lithuania. Vilnius - March

I had some personal things to do in Vilnius, so Lithuania was our next stop for a while. It welcomed us with a Šakotis cake, a surprise for me during my last trip here because of its delicious butter taste:

And playful cats appearing everywhere in these first days of spring:

I heard one described Lithuanian cuisine as simple village food, which is not far from reality. The taste of this food here is perfectly delicious and full-bodied.
